With the input of local government customers and partners worldwide, Microsoft has created the Citizen Service Platform (CSP), a solution set that helps local governments solve their unique business challenges. Component-based and rapidly configurable, CSP can support common technology and process foundations across agencies – helping local governments to deliver high quality, and highly efficient, service to citizens and businesses, everywhere.
Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 (MOSS 2007) is a core component to the CSP platform. Our practical implementation experience, proven capabilities and government relevant solutions make the CSP a central focus in our work with local and regional government.
As well as our CSP platform knowledge we are working with Microsoft, other strategic CSP partners and our clients with a number of CSP applications and templates on the way, including:
- Local Government CMS template.
- Local Government EDRMS template.
- Online information directory – ideal for services directories.
- Electronic Social Care Record (ESCR).
- Several others, currently underway.
In addition to these, our enhancement components provide specific extensions to MOSS 2007 to deliver key capabilities needed for citizen engagement, these include our Accessibility Kit that enables ‘AA’ compliant content managed and functional interfaces and our SharePoint Multilingual Kit (SMK) providing switchable user interfaces and functional multilingual support.
